Description of the Dordogne

The river slowly flows past majestic trees, their forms dominating the bank. The river bed is clearly visible through the crystal-clear water. The river bed is lined with long reeds, slowly being tugged at by the current. The river reflects the hazy forms of the trees.

Enormous mountains dominate the skyline, their faces covered in trees. Small cottages are scattered on the slopes of the mountains.

Around the countryside, trees grow in rows, as if they were placed by a godly hand. The trees vary from tall and grand to short and stumpy.

The birds flit around the landscape, gracefully flying. They beautifully sing, their warbling song heard for miles.
